Shirley Mashaba

Shirley Mashaba has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Shirley began their career at BAT as a Management Trainee in Finance, where they provided end-to-end finance support and managed regional budgets. Shirley then moved on to L'Oréal, where they served as a Business Controller for both the Consumer Products and Professional Products divisions. Currently, Shirley is employed at Sanlam Investments, where they have held various roles including Key Account Manager, Operations Finance & Compliance Manager, and their current position as the Head of Strategic Partners.

Shirley Mashaba completed their education in a chronological manner. In 2007, they attended the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, where they pursued a degree in Bcom Law with a focus on Financial Management. Shirley successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2009.

After obtaining their bachelor's degree, Shirley Mashaba enrolled at CIMA from 2012 to 2014. During this period, they obtained a CIMA qualification, specializing in Management Accounting.

In 2020, Shirley Mashaba continued their educational journey by attending Stellenbosch Business School. Shirley completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Future Studies, with a concentration in Futures, during the same year.

More recently, in 2023, Shirley Mashaba attended the GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science). Shirley pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration, specifically focusing on enhancing their skills in this field.
