Senior Director Of Design Engineering, - EMEA at Sanmina

Avi Gabay has a strong background in design engineering and telecommunications. Avi started their career as an Entry Level Telecom Engineer at France Telecom in 1996. Avi then worked as a Telecom Engineer at Alcatel Telspace before joining CNES French Space Agency as a Senior Telecom Engineer in 1997. At CNES, they focused on optimizing algorithms for satellite technology. In 2000, they became the Chief Technical Officer at Bloophone, where they led a team in developing and selling wideband telephones. Avi also established partnerships with firms in Asia for research and production. In 2006, Avi Gabay joined Swissvoice as the Deputy Managing Director, overseeing a team that developed Wi-Fi VoIP telephones. Avi subsequently joined Sanmina Corporation in 2007, where they held the role of Senior Director of Design Engineering for EMEA. In this position, they were responsible for selling and executing design services, managing a team, and transforming projects into products for various industries.

Avi Gabay completed a PhD in Signal Processing from Télécom Paris from 1997 to 2000. Before that, they obtained a DEA degree in Digital Telecommunications Systems from Télécom Paris from 1996 to 1997. Avi also graduated as an Engineer from Télécom Paris in 1997, specializing in the conception of transmission systems, signal processing, networks, digital communications, and computers. Prior to attending Télécom Paris, Avi Gabay obtained a Master's degree in Mathematics from Pierre and Marie Curie University from 1995 to 1996, and a Bachelor of Science and License in Mathematics from the same university from 1994 to 1995. Avi completed their preparatory studies in mathematics at Lycée Condorcet from 1991 to 1994.
