Damian Collins

Damian Collins has extensive work experience in engineering and management roles. Damian started their career at Analog Devices in 1995 as a Staff Engineer and worked there until 2008. Following this, they joined Boston Scientific as a Senior Engineering Manager, where they were responsible for driving quality, new product introduction, automation, and people development. Damian managed a team of over 20 engineers. In 2017, Damian Collins joined Sanmina as the Head of Engineering in Ireland.

Damian Collins obtained a PhD in Materials/Physics from the University of Limerick from 1992 to 1995. Prior to that, they earned a BTech in Manufacturing and Electronic Production from the same university from 1988 to 1992. Damian also holds additional certifications, including a Black belt in six sigma (institution not provided) and a Shingo Prize Certificate from the Shingo Institute.
