Garret Touchstone

Garret Touchstone has an extensive work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Garret currently holds the position of Business Unit Director at Sanmina since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Director of Quality at Sanmina from March 2019 to December 2022.

Before their role at Sanmina, Garret worked at Smart Wires Inc. where they served as Senior Quality Engineering Manager from November 2018 to March 2019, Quality Engineering Manager from August 2017 to November 2018, and Senior Quality Engineer from October 2015 to August 2017.

Garret also has experience in the aerospace industry, having worked at Lockheed Martin as a Program Quality Engineer Senior from June 2014 to October 2015, Quality Engineer Sr from April 2011 to June 2014, and Quality Engineer from March 2007 to April 2011.

In addition to their industry experience, Garret has also held roles at Cornell University. Garret was a member of the Integration and Testing Team for Nanosat 4 Project Team from January 2006 to January 2007, and they served as a Mechanical Engineer for the Darpa Grand Challenge Team from August 2004 to October 2005.

Garret's early work experience includes a role as a Tax Preparer and Auditor at RBTK, LLP from June 2002 to August 2005.

Garret Touchstone completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University in the years 2002-2006. Garret then pursued a Masters of Engineering in Aerospace and Systems Engineering from the same institution in 2006-2007.
