Marco Felix

Marco Felix has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Marco currently works at Sanmina as the Director of Field Applications Engineer for Advanced Microsystems Technologies. Prior to this, they held various roles at Flex, including Director of Optical Engineering and Director of Design and Engineering. At Flex, they led global optical engineering projects, supervised manufacturing performance, researched new manufacturing capabilities, and oversaw the installation of optical assembly equipment. Before joining Flex, Marco served as the R&D Manager at Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, where they supervised R&D activities and evaluated proposals. Marco also worked as a Full Professor at both Universidad Autónoma de Baja California and Universidad Politécnica de Baja California. Marco's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Product Engineer at Motorola Mobility, where they provided technical support for optical telecommunications products and developed production test processes.

Marco Felix completed a Master of Science degree in Optoelectronics at the Centro de Investigación Científica y de Educación Superior de Ensenada from 1999 to 2001. Marco then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Optoelectronics at the same institution from 2002 to 2007.
