Karlien De Bruin

Karlien joined Sanne in 2017. In her role as Global Head of ESG, Karlien ensures that Sanne remains a responsible steward of its resources, as well as being conscious of, and reducing, any impact which Sanne has on the environment. Karlien focuses on environmental, social and governance issues globally.

Karlien has acted on Responsible Investment Committees in previous roles, as well as industry bodies looking at Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) issues. Karlien has served on the UN PRI Reporting and Assessment Committee, setting a framework for PRI Signatories to report targets for ESG goals.

Karlien has worked in the Financial Services industry since 2003, in roles ranging from asset management to banking. Her experience includes the investment process, investment portfolio construction, trade execution and model building such as scenario analysis and stress testing.
