Alba Zurriaga Carda

Alba Zurriaga Carda is a seasoned professional in digital health and innovation, currently serving as the Director of Digital Investments at Sanofi Ventures since January 2022, where responsibilities include leading venture capital investments and strategy in Digital Health and Data Science Innovation. Prior to this role, Alba was the Head of Global Innovation Strategy at 500 Global, overseeing strategic innovation initiatives and fostering startup ecosystems. Alba’s experience also includes significant positions at Deloitte as a Senior Innovation Consultant and Innovation Consultant, where projects involved startup scouting and corporate innovation. Additionally, Alba has a background in technology analysis and startup founding, having co-founded AnchorUp, a company targeting the Millennial tourism market in Japan. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and Master's degrees in Entrepreneurship and Technology Management from The University of Tokyo, as well as a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Universitat Politècnica de València.
