Elton Rexhepaj

Elton Rexhepaj is a highly experienced professional in the field of data science, currently serving as the Director of Data Science, Bioimaging and Computational Pathology at Sanofi since September 2020, previously holding the position of Data Scientist in the Artificial Intelligence and Deep Analytics R&D department. Prior experience includes roles as an Imaging Data Scientist at Median Technologies and Data Scientist at GENFIT, as well as a Senior Data Analyst at Institut Curie in Paris, specializing in high-content phenotypic screening. Elton's research background encompasses positions at École normale supérieure, Uppsala University, and University College Dublin, where contributions included work on the Human Protein Atlas and development of bioinformatics approaches for high throughput proteomic quantification. Elton holds a PhD in Bioinformatics from University College Dublin and an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Lausanne.
