Franck Chanut

Franck Chanut is a pathologist and toxicologist who has held significant positions in the preclinical safety field, currently serving as the Head of Preclinical Safety R&D Projects in France. They have a strong advocate for the 4Rs and a paradigm shift in toxicology. Franck's previous roles include Director of Pathology at GlaxoSmithKline and Pathologist at Sanofi, where they also led the group Techniques in Pathology. They have served as the Chairman of the European Society of Toxicologic Pathology and have extensive teaching experience, including a period at the National Veterinary School of Nantes. Franck holds a DVM from Ecole nationale vétérinaire de Nantes, along with multiple advanced degrees in pathology and biotechnology.
