Gregory Merriman

Gregory Merriman is a distinguished scientist with extensive experience in medicinal chemistry, currently serving as Group Head at Sanofi since July 2010. With a professional background that includes leadership roles such as Lead Research Scientist II and Section Head of High-Throughput Medicinal Chemistry at Sanofi-Aventis, Gregory has overseen numerous research programs, managed teams, and contributed to the re-establishment of high-throughput methodologies at the Bridgewater facility. Gregory began their career in medicinal chemistry at Hoechst Marion Roussel, developing treatments for CNS disorders and advancing skills in solid-phase synthesis. Gregory holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from The Ohio State University and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University at Buffalo.
