Jean-Francois Toussaint

Jean-Francois Toussaint is the current head of research and development at Sanofi. Jean-Francois has extensive experience in the field, having previously worked as a vice president and head discovery unit at GlaxoSmithKline, as well as a director and project leader for various vaccine projects. Jean-Francois has also led the discovery and development of several new vaccines, including those for RSV maternal and paediatric candidates, and has been responsible for the acquisition of Okairos' biotech. In addition to their work in research and development, Toussaint has also served as a scientist at GlaxoSmithKline.

Jean-Francois Toussaint has an Executive MBA from HEC Paris in Business Administration and General Management. Jean-Francois also has a PhD from the Faculté universitaire des Sciences agronomiques de Gembloux in Bio-Engineering.
