Jean-Michel Demeure

Jean-Michel Demeure is a seasoned finance executive with over 35 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Vice-President Finance Global Operations at Sanofi since June 1999. Demeure has held various leadership roles within Sanofi, including Vice-Président, CFO for Zentiva & Global Generics Platform, and Finance & Control Director, overseeing key markets and global activities post-mergers. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy General Manager for Synthélabo in the EAAA Region and France, where Demeure was responsible for finance and development initiatives. Earlier in Demeure's career, consulting work at SIAR International contributed to international development projects, followed by military service as a Para-Commando Officer in the Belgian Army. Educational credentials include an MBA from KU Leuven and a JD from Université catholique de Louvain.
