Wim Janssens

Wim Janssens has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Wim is currently serving as the Vice President Finance & Strategic Business Partner Global Operations at Scandinavian Tobacco Group since May 2020. Prior to this role, they worked as a Qualified Partner at Strategy with Balls, where they provided strategic frameworks and guidance. Before that, Wim was the Owner and Managing Director of Finopal, starting from February 2019. Wim also has experience as a Group Controller at Vynova Group and Scandinavian Tobacco Group. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Business Controller and Finance Manager at Swedish Match, F&A Systems Manager at UPS SCS, Business Analyst, and ERP Project Manager at Brepols Graphic Products. Wim began their professional journey as an Account Manager SME at KBC.

Wim Janssens holds a Master's degree in Applied Economics from KU Leuven, which they obtained between 1991 and 1997. In 2001-2003, they completed a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance at VLEKHO Business School Brussel. In 2011-2012, they earned a Master's degree in Organizational Performance Management from Antwerp Management School. In 2019, they attended the Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI) for a course in Corporate Finance - FMVA. Furthermore, Wim Janssens has obtained additional certifications, including The Six Morning Habits of High Performers from LinkedIn in 2020, CPIM BSCM from APICS in 2015, and Organizational Performance Management from Antwerp Management School in 2011.
