Laura Witkam

Laura Witkam is a Global Project Head for Immunology & Inflammation at Sanofi, where they currently lead a global project team focused on advancing new candidate drugs from research to clinical trials. Prior to this role, Laura held various medical leadership positions at companies such as Novartis Oncology and GlaxoSmithKline, specializing in oncology and medical affairs. Having begun their career as a Regulatory Affairs Trainee at the European Medicines Agency, Laura has cultivated extensive expertise in the pharmaceutical industry over the years. They also volunteered with the People Management Team for the Paralympic Games Paris 2024, contributing to a memorable experience for athletes and attendees alike. Laura holds a PharmD and MSc from Utrecht University and completed a thesis at the University of Sydney.
