Melanie Blain is currently the Director of Technical Operations at Sanofi, overseeing the Technical Operations for External Manufacturing in North America. Previously, they served as a Strategic Project Manager in Biologics Site and Engineering Project Manager for Biosurgery at Sanofi Genzyme from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, Melanie held various engineering positions at Genzyme from 1996 to 2012, contributing to both Biologics and Biosurgery manufacturing. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University and a Master of Science in Business Administration from Bentley College.
