Tim Boit

Tim Boit is a Senior Scientist in Process Chemistry at Sanofi, where they focus on developing robust and eco-friendly manufacturing processes for small molecule medicines. They completed their PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry at UCLA under Professor Neil Garg, with research on nickel-catalyzed reactions. Tim also served as a NIH postdoctoral scholar in the Betley laboratory at Harvard University, contributing to the synthesis of copper-oxo and peroxo complexes. Prior to that, they gained research experience through internships and undergraduate positions at ImmunoGen, Bowdoin College, and other institutions.
