Nanette van Mourik is a sustainability manager at Sanoma Learning since April 2024, leading the Strategy Team's sustainability initiatives in Europe. Prior to this role, Nanette served as a method developer and publisher for Malmberg from January 2022 to March 2024, focusing on economics and history. From January 2020 to December 2021, Nanette managed sustainability campaigns at HIER, emphasizing energy transition and public awareness. Nanette also founded and operated PUUR Publishers, a communication and media agency, from 2009 to 2019, serving notable clients such as VVN and Rabobank. Earlier experience includes serving as the chief editor and publisher at Consumentenbond from 2000 to 2010, and managing various magazines at Reshift from 1997 to 2000. Nanette's career began as an editor at Uitgeverij Unieboek | Het Spectrum bv from 1996 to 1997. Nanette holds a Master of Arts in History and American Studies from Utrecht University and has additional educational experience from Washington University in St. Louis.
