Vanessa Tarta

Vanessa Tarta has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Vanessa began their career as a Pharmacy Apprentice at Farmacia Aldedra and later worked as a Pharmacist at Pharma Net. Vanessa then transitioned into the field of marketing, holding intern positions at Pepscan and DSM. In 2016, they joined ttopstart as a Science and Business Consultant, where they specialized in strategic business planning, market research, and funding strategies for life sciences start-ups. Vanessa further expanded their expertise in business development and innovation at Sanquin, where they served as a Business Developer and later as a Business Development Manager at Sanquinnovate. Their responsibilities at Sanquin included scouting for innovative technologies, devising valorization strategies, managing contract negotiations, and contributing to assessing potential business opportunities. Most recently, Vanessa worked as an External Expert at Eureka Network. Overall, Vanessa Tarta has demonstrated a strong ability to drive commercialization, establish strategic collaborations, and contribute to the growth and success of organizations.

Vanessa Tarta completed their education with a Master's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Iuliu Hațieganu", Cluj-Napoca, from 2006 to 2011. Vanessa then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in International Business Administration from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, they also engaged in executive education at the same institution, focusing on Strategic Problem Solving.
