Reginald Demana

Reginald (Reg) Demana's work experience includes serving as the Chief Executive Officer of SANRAL since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Divisional Executive at the Industrial Development Corporation from May 2021 to November 2022, where they focused on sectors such as Mining, Metals, Infrastructure & Energy. Before that, they served as the Chief Executive Officer of a JSE Main Board Listed Junior Mining Company from April 2019 to March 2021. Reg also held various positions at Nedbank Corporate and Investment Banking from November 2004 to March 2019.

Reginald Demana pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering at the University of the Witwatersrand, which they completed in 1997. From 1989 to 1991, Reginald attended Mbilwi Secondary School, where they focused on general education. Later, in 2002, they attended the University of Exeter to pursue a Master of Science degree in Mining Engineering, which they completed in 2003. Reginald's educational background demonstrates their dedication to the field of mining engineering and their commitment to furthering their knowledge in this area.
