Christopher Crowley

Christopher Crowley is a seasoned cyber security professional with extensive experience in various roles within the field. Currently serving as a Subject Matter Expert at IANS since April 2023, Christopher provides guidance on security operations and conducts maturity assessments for security operations centers. Christopher has operated as an Independent Consultant for Montance®LLC since December 2011, offering expertise in information assurance, incident handling, and penetration testing. As a Senior SANS Instructor with the SANS Institute since 2006, Christopher has contributed significantly to training and mentoring. Previous roles include Incident Response Analyst and Manager at Energy Enterprise Services, Cyber Security Analyst for the Department of Energy Office of Science, and Network Engineer at TerpSys and CommTech Industries, among others. Christopher holds dual degrees from Tulane University, a BS in Computer Information Systems and a BA in English.
