Dennis Scandrett

Dennis Scandrett possesses extensive experience in the fields of security training and investment management. Currently serving at the SANS Institute since February 2012, Dennis is a member of the SANS Executive Leader Team and holds the position of Director for Cloud Security & Cyber Leadership Training Curriculums, as well as Chair for the HCBU Committee and the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Task Force. Prior to this role, Dennis worked at Oak Ridge Investments from January 2005 to February 2012 as Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager, and Director of Research, where focus was placed on identifying high-quality companies for investment. Earlier experience includes a role as Assistant Controller at Alcoa Fujikura from 1999 to 2002. Educational qualifications include an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA in Accounting from the University of West Georgia.
