Gary McCully, PhD, CISSP, OSCP, GXPN, CEH, is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in offensive security engineering and red teaming. Currently serving as a Senior Offensive Security Engineer at PayPal since February 2021, McCully is also a member of the SANS/GIAC Advisory Board. Previous roles include Senior Cyber Security Analyst at Associated Bank, where McCully conducted security assessments and adversary simulations, as well as Senior Consultant at SQS Group, focusing on vulnerability identification and remediation. McCully has a robust educational background, with a PhD in Cyber Operations from Dakota State University, a Master's in Information Assurance and Cybersecurity, and multiple certifications in cybersecurity fields.
