Jason Ostrom

Jason Ostrom is the Founder and Principal Consultant at Stora, specializing in information security with extensive experience in penetration testing, DevOps automation, and security consulting for FISMA and NIST compliance. At the SANS Institute, Jason serves as an Instructor and Author, teaching cloud penetration testing and co-authoring a course on security automation, while also working as a Principal Range Engineer and Cloud Architect. Previous roles include Director of Technical Services at Zyston, where leadership in penetration testing and agile software development was demonstrated, and Sr. Manager of the VIPER Lab at Avaya, focusing on VoIP security assessments. Jason's career began as a Network Security Consultant and Technical Support Teamlead, with an educational background including a B.A. from the University of Michigan and dual master's degrees in Computer Science from James Madison University.
