Matthew Ulm

Matthew Ulm has extensive experience in information security, currently serving as a member of the Red Team at Motorola Solutions since August 2016, focusing on detection analysis, adversary emulation, and attack surface management. Previous roles at Motorola include Information Security Architect and Manager of the Threat Response Team, where expertise in malware forensics and threat intelligence was demonstrated. Additional contributions to the security field include membership on the SANS GIAC Advisory Board and involvement with the Underscore Theatre Company. Earlier positions at companies such as Avant, Edelman, Walgreens, and Neohapsis showcase a solid foundation in incident response, vulnerability management, and security architecture. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition from Columbia College Chicago and has engaged in various educational pursuits in music and technology.
