Rob Lee

Rob T. Lee currently serves as Chief of Research and Head of Faculty at the SANS Institute, where efforts focus on enhancing global standards in cybersecurity education, research, and certification. With a significant background in digital forensics and incident response, Rob has authored multiple top-selling courses at SANS, including FOR500 and FOR508, and developed the SIFT Workstation. Additionally, Rob is a Technical Advisor with the U.S. Department of Justice's Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, the founder of Harbingers, and a member of Abundance360. Previous roles include Director of Threat Hunting and Incident Response at MANDIANT and various leadership positions in the Air Force. Educational credentials include an MBA from Georgetown University and a BS from the United States Air Force Academy.
