Angela Vera is an accomplished professional with a strong background in clerical support, client relations, and community advocacy. Currently serving as a Senior Clerical Aide - Court Liaison at the Santa Ana Police Department since November 2019, Angela is responsible for managing DUI crime report documentation and case tracking systems, facilitating communication with law enforcement officers, and maintaining professional standards within the department. Additionally, Angela has held leadership roles in client relations at The Camp Transformation Center and has demonstrated expertise in bilingual research and domestic violence advocacy with prior experience at the Orange County Family Justice Center. Angela possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Social Ecology and Criminology from UC Irvine and an Associate's degree in Sociology from Santa Ana College.

Santa Ana Police Department
The Santa Ana Police Department is a full service police department with a full operational jail staffed by civilian Correction Officers. Santa Ana Police Department is comprised of more than 300 officers and over 200 civilian employees. The department currently has 50 fully funded sworn officer vacancies and numerous civilian vacancies. The opportunity to join a police department where you will rapidly gain seniority has never been greater. We anticipate hiring at least 125 sworn officers over the next 3 years to fill current vacancies and anticipated retirements. The Santa Ana Police Department handles approximately 11,000 calls for service each month and provides full service operations in various divisions such as: Patrol, Traffic, General Investigations, Special Investigations, Training and others.
