Greg Maciha is a retired Police Corporal from the Santa Ana Police Department with extensive experience in law enforcement and military service. After serving in the US Army as a Staff Sergeant, where supervision of a platoon of 30 soldiers was a key responsibility, Greg transitioned to a role as a Technical Support Representative at Lexipol in September 2013. In addition to practical experience, Greg Maciha holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Fullerton, achieved between 1981 and 1995.

The Santa Ana Police Department is a full service police department with a full operational jail staffed by civilian Correction Officers. Santa Ana Police Department is comprised of more than 300 officers and over 200 civilian employees. The department currently has 50 fully funded sworn officer vacancies and numerous civilian vacancies. The opportunity to join a police department where you will rapidly gain seniority has never been greater. We anticipate hiring at least 125 sworn officers over the next 3 years to fill current vacancies and anticipated retirements. The Santa Ana Police Department handles approximately 11,000 calls for service each month and provides full service operations in various divisions such as: Patrol, Traffic, General Investigations, Special Investigations, Training and others.
