Amy Ramos

Amy Ramos is an accomplished human resources professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at the Santa Barbara County Education Office since August 2018, Amy has previously held positions such as Project Manager at Koff & Associates and Vice President for Human Resources at Fielding Graduate University. Earlier experience includes directing human resources at Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics and administrative roles at UC Santa Barbara, where responsibilities included budget management and overseeing a Multi-Campus Research Program. With a solid foundation in editing and reporting as a former Managing Editor of an ethnic studies journal and Copy Editor for the Santa Barbara Independent, Amy began career development as a Supervising Human Resources Analyst for the County of Santa Barbara. Education includes a B.A. in Comparative Literature from Brown University.
