John Moore

John Moore serves as the General Manager at Santa Barbara Infrared since September 2014. Prior to this role, John held significant positions in engineering management, including Vice President of Engineering at Quantum from February 2005 to September 2014, where responsibilities encompassed all engineering aspects of tape drive products. John's experience also includes serving as Vice President of Recording Head Operations at Certance Corporation between 2003 and 2005, and as Executive Director of Tape Recording Head Operations at Seagate Technology from 1997 to 2003. John's educational background includes a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Worcester Polytechnic Institute, respectively.
