Douglas Norberg

Douglas Norberg holds extensive experience in leadership and governance across various industries. Serving as a Trustee at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art since 2020, Norberg also has a longstanding role as Owner of Norvest since 2002. Douglas's commitment to educational institutions is evident through Trustee positions at Colorado College since 1998 and the Seattle Art Museum since 1997. Norberg served as Director (retired) at Pope Resources since 1996 and as Founding Director at Commerce Bank of Washington since 1988. A former President of Wright Runstad & Company and The University Club Seattle, Norberg held the role of Executive Vice President at KCET from 1968 to 1975. Early career experience includes a position as Sr. Accountant on the Audit Staff at Ernst & Young from 1962 to 1968. Educational achievements include a Corporate Directors Program from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, a General Management certificate from Harvard Business School, and a BA in Business and Banking, Economics, and Accounting from Colorado College.
