Margot Dement

Margot Dement is the current Human Resources Director at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. Margot has held this position since January of 2009. Prior to their current position, Margot was an HR Senior Generalist at InfoGenesis from January 2005 to December 2008.

Before that, Margot was the HR Manager at BioEnterics Corp - Inamed from October 1993 to August 2001. In this role, they were responsible for managing employee relations, recruiting, retention, termination and file retention. Margot also oversaw two HR staff members, as well as the company's reception and facility.

Margot has a wealth of experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures. Margot is also experienced in ISO audits, mediations and litigation. Margot has trained all staff in sexual harassment, workplace violence and substance abuse. Additionally, they have planned and executed employee meetings and events.

Most recently, Margot administered the company restructure at consolidation. Margot holds a degree in human resources from Santa Barbara City College.
