Kristine Pacheco-Bernt

Teaching Artist at Santa Barbara Symphony

Kristine Pacheco-Bernt is an accomplished violinist and educator with extensive experience in music administration, teaching, and community engagement within the Santa Barbara area. Currently serving as the Program Administrator at the Music Academy since August 2022, Kristine also holds the position of Teaching Artist with the Santa Barbara Symphony since May 2013, where a commitment to connecting music education with children's development is emphasized. Additionally, Kristine has worked as the Education Programs Manager and Director of Education for the San Luis Obispo Symphony Orchestra since November 2017, and has maintained a freelance music career as a private instructor and performer since August 2008. Kristine holds a Master of Music degree in Solo Violin Performance from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of California, Berkeley.
