Santa Barbara Symphony
Sandy Adams is an experienced music educator and consultant, currently serving as a band teacher at Hope Elementary School District and an instrumental music specialist for the Santa Barbara Unified School District. Additional roles include clarinet instructor at Nick Rail Band Camp, teaching artist for the Santa Barbara Symphony, and co-director/co-founder of the South Coast Youth Band. Sandy Adams has also contributed to higher education as an adjunct professor in computer information systems at Santa Barbara City College. With a background in consulting at Sandra Adams Solutions and SmartStar Corporation, combined with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics/Computer Science from Frostburg State University, Sandy Adams possesses a diverse skill set in both music education and technology.

The Santa Barbara Symphony was founded in 1953 on the belief that a special city deserves a special orchestra. For over 60 years, the Santa Barbara Symphony has been lauded for its unique ability to deliver brilliant concerts, engage the community at large, and deliver powerful music education programs.
