Tim Beccue

Section Cellist, Substitute at Santa Barbara Symphony

Tim Beccue is a versatile professional with a diverse background in software engineering and cello performance. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at Las Cumbres Observatory since August 2018, Tim has also established a successful freelance career as a cellist, performing at various weddings and events across Southern California since January 2013. In addition to musical pursuits, Tim has contributed as a Section Cellist for the Santa Barbara Symphony and the American Youth Symphony on a contract basis. Academic support experience includes serving as a Physics Teaching Assistant and Calculus TA at Westmont College, where responsibilities involved organizing review sessions and grading assignments. Tim's experience extends to facilitating management science workshops at Baxalta and conducting atmospheric fluid dynamics research with a professor. Tim holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Westmont College, earned in June 2018.
