Santa Barbara Symphony
Trevor Handy is an accomplished cellist with extensive experience in performance and education. Since September 2002, Trevor serves as a cellist for the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra. Concurrently, since September 2014, Trevor has held the position of Adjunct Instructor at Westmont College. Trevor also plays the role of Principal for the Santa Barbara Symphony, starting in January 2012. Academically, Trevor completed a Bachelor of Music, Master of Music, and Professional Studies in Cello Performance at The Juilliard School from 1982 to 1989.

The Santa Barbara Symphony was founded in 1953 on the belief that a special city deserves a special orchestra. For over 60 years, the Santa Barbara Symphony has been lauded for its unique ability to deliver brilliant concerts, engage the community at large, and deliver powerful music education programs.
