McKenzie Amundson

Mckenzie Amundson, M.A., is a licensed marriage and family therapist with extensive experience in mental health services. Currently serving as the Licensed Clinical Supervisor and Team Lead for Mental Health Programs at Santa Barbara Unified School District, Mckenzie provides clinical supervision for AMFTs and ASWs while leading the district's mental health professionals. In addition to this role, Mckenzie operates a private practice in Santa Barbara, offering telehealth services across California. Previous positions include Practitioner I at the County of Santa Barbara's Behavioral Wellness program, Behavioral Health Clinician II with the County of Orange's Crisis Assessment Team, and various roles in youth services. Mckenzie holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Chapman University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
