Santa Clara County Fire Department
Brian Glass has extensive experience in fire services, beginning as a Fire Explorer in the City of Pacific Grove in 1995 and advancing through various roles, including Paid Call Firefighter, Firefighter I, and Paramedic. From May 2000 to April 2002, Brian worked as a Firefighter with the City of Salinas and as a Paramedic with American Medical Response. Brian joined the Santa Clara County Fire Department in 2002, progressing through the ranks to Assistant Fire Chief, Acting Fire Chief, and Deputy Chief, overseeing operations. Previous roles also include Battalion Chief and EMS Coordinator from August 2013 to February 2015. Brian holds a Master's Degree in Emergency Services Administration from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Studies from the same institution, along with an Associate of Science in Fire Protection and Technology from Monterey Peninsula College.

Santa Clara County Fire Department is a California Fire Protection District serving the communities of Campbell, Cupertino, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, Saratoga and surrounding unincorporated areas of Santa Clara County. Mission Statement: "The Santa Clara County Fire Department exists to protect the lives, property, and environment within the communities served from fires, disasters, and emergency incidents through education, prevention, and emergency response."
