Kelly Wylie serves as the Executive Director and Public Information Officer at the Santa Clara County Office of Education, with roles including Director of Public Affairs and Director III for Creative Impact & Public Affairs since July 2019. Wylie is also a National Faculty Member at CAST, focusing on Universal Design for Learning. Previously, Wylie held the position of Program Director at both the Alameda County Office of Education and the Reginal System of District and School Support. Additional experience includes serving as Vice Principal at Pleasanton Unified School District and Dean of Academic Affairs at Alum Rock School District. Wylie's early career involved roles such as GATE Coordinator and Lead Classroom Teacher at Los Angeles Unified School District and Meritor Academy, respectively. Wylie began a professional journey in media relations with the Reno Express inline hockey team and as a Sports Information Intern at the University of Nevada, Reno. Wylie earned a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from National University and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from the University of Nevada, Reno.
