Sofía Fojas

Sofía Fojas, Ed.D., is an experienced arts educator currently serving as the Arts Coordinator for the Santa Clara County Office of Education since March 2020. Previously, Fojas held several key roles including Director of Visual and Performing Arts at Elk Grove Unified School District and Supervisor for Cultural Equity and Social Justice in the Arts at San Francisco Unified School District. Fojas has extensive teaching experience in music, including positions as a Mariachi Instructor and Director of Instrumental Music across various school districts. Fojas holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from San José State University and multiple credentials and degrees focused on educational administration and music pedagogy.
