Andrew Somera Mph

Andrew Somera, MPH, is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in housing services and homeless care. Currently serving as the Housing Services Program Manager at Santa Clara Family Health Plan since May 2023, Somera previously held the role of Program Specialist in Home Stretch at the County of Alameda Health Care Services Agency from July 2020 to May 2023, where impactful programming was developed for residents experiencing homelessness. Somera's background also includes a position as a Graduate Research Assistant at San Jose State University, focusing on health inequities among marginalized communities, and as a Lead Service Coordinator at Satellite Affordable Housing Associates, dedicated to empowering individuals through affordable housing.
