Brian Thomas

Brian Thomas serves as an Adjunct Lecturer and Industry Advisor at Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business and Leavey Sustainable Business Institute, respectively, while also holding the position of Program Director at the Ciocca Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship since September 2019. Prior to this, Brian accumulated extensive experience at Equinix from May 2005 to April 2019, where roles included Chief of Staff to the CEO, Vice President of Strategy and Operations, and Executive Sponsor for the Corporate Sustainability Initiative. Brian's earlier career includes significant roles at Citi from October 1994 to April 2003, including Vice President in Investment Banking focused on Technology and Health Care. Brian holds a Master of Philosophy in Economics and Politics of Development from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Politics from Willamette University.
