Matthew Harrigan

Matthew Harrigan serves as an Assistant Teaching Professor at Santa Clara University since September 2014, where Matthew teaches courses in the Department of Political Science and holds roles such as Director of Pre-Law Advising and Associate Director of the Office of Student Fellowships. Prior to this, Matthew worked at Santa Fe College from August 2008 to July 2014, taking on various positions including Adjunct Associate Professor and Interim Assistant Professor in the Social & Behavioral Sciences, specifically in Political Science. Additionally, Matthew has experience as a Graduate Fellow and Instructor at the University of Florida, a teacher in the Social Studies Department at Park Vista Community High School, and an intern and press assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives. Matthew Harrigan earned a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida, a Master of Arts in Political Management from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame.
