Miguel Rocha

Miguel Rocha is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data analytics, education, and research. Since August 2017, Miguel has served as the Director of Data Analytics and Development at the Santa Cruz County Office of Education while also teaching Physics at Cabrillo College and Gavilan College. As the founder of SciTech Analytics, Inc., Miguel focuses on developing custom tools for data analysis and visualization. Previous positions include Postdoctoral Researcher and Scientific Visualization Director at UC-HiPACC/UC Santa Cruz, where responsibilities included conducting research and managing the Astronomy 3D Visualization Laboratory. Miguel holds a PhD in Physics and Astronomy from UC Irvine and a BS in Astrophysics from UC Santa Cruz.
