Jeanne Ogrady has been with the Santa Cruz Public Library since 1997, currently serving as a Program Team Leader and Program Librarian, focusing on early literacy and family programming. Previously, Jeanne held the position of Outreach Program Manager and Youth Services Outreach Librarian for a brief period in 2011. Jeanne Ogrady earned a Master of Library Science degree from Southern Connecticut State University between 1975 and 1977, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Smith College from 1966 to 1970.

SCPL brings people, information, and resources together to enrich lives and strengthen our community. We give every Santa Cruz Community member the opportunity to learn through our educational resources, classes, and staff support. We develop programs for the broad community as well as specific groups like students, seniors, and those who are most vulnerable, including the unhoused and incarcerated. We curate specialty collections, like genealogy and local history. We are an ever-adapting organization, continuously innovating, iterating, and exploring new ways to meet our community’s changing needs.
