Laura Blasingame

Laura Blasingame is an experienced library and human resources professional with a robust background in both fields. Currently serving as a Library Assistant II at Santa Cruz Public Library since May 2021, Laura previously held key HR roles, including HR Manager at New Leaf Community Markets and Employee Relations Analyst at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Laura's career in HR began as HR Administrative Assistant at Chaminade Resort and Spa, advancing to HR Assistant Manager at New Leaf Community Markets. Laura holds a Master of Library & Information Science from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
