Rebecca Gordon is an experienced educator with a strong background in social studies and mathematics instruction, currently serving as a High School Social Studies Teacher at Santa Fe Indian School since August 2019. Prior roles include Social Studies Teacher at Zuni Public Schools, where Rebecca taught government and economics, and a Head Volleyball Coach at Zuni High School. Rebecca's early career also includes teaching high school mathematics through Teach For America and coaching track and field and volleyball at various educational levels. An accomplished athlete, Rebecca captained both the Track & Field and Volleyball teams at Smith College, contributing to leadership development programs for young girls in sports. Academically, Rebecca holds a Master's Degree in Secondary Education from the University of New Mexico-Gallup Campus and a Master's in Public Policy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, along with an undergraduate degree in Sociology from Smith College.
