Victor Tam

Victor Tam has extensive experience in academic leadership and instruction, currently serving as the Dean of Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture, and Mathematics (STEAM) at Santa Rosa Junior College since July 2016. Prior to this role, Victor Tam was the Division Dean for Physical Sciences, Mathematics, and Engineering (PSME) at Foothill-De Anza Community College District from September 2007 to July 2016, where responsibilities included supervising over 110 faculty and staff, managing departmental budgets, and developing course schedules. Victor Tam also held the position of Associate Professor of Chemistry, coordinating the Chemistry Department and teaching multiple chemistry courses. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and M.S. in Chemistry from UC San Diego and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
