I was born in San Francisco and raised in the south bay - what is now know as Silicon Valley - Saratoga, CA. I have an older sister and younger brother. I have a BA in Anthropology with a focus in Forensic Identification and like to read a lot. I have lived and worked in New York City and Houston, Texas as well as many parts of California. I have 1 son who is graduating from Maria Carrillo High School this year. Some of my favorite things are the beach (my maternal grandparents had retired to La Selva Beach - where I have spent a lot of time), reading and geneology. In school, I competed in gymnastics, swimming and field hockey. I love yoga.

Fun fact
I’ve been kissed on the cheek by Lloyd Bridges during a tennis match when I was 10. A few years later during a tennis match as a ball girl, I was hit by a serve/ace by John McEnroe.
