Venessa Denny ACG, CMgr MCMI is a seasoned governance professional with extensive experience in company secretarial roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Senior Assistant Company Secretary at The Hyde Group since April 2023, Venessa plays a pivotal role in the Governance Team, overseeing customers, stakeholders, and operations. Prior to this, Venessa was Deputy Company Secretary at One Housing, contributing to the Senior Leadership Team and ensuring governance practices were integral to the organization. Venessa has also served as Treasurer and Committee Member for the Association of Women Chartered Secretaries, promoting the development of women in the profession. Throughout a career that includes positions at A2Dominion Group and L&Q, Venessa has demonstrated leadership in corporate governance, strategic direction, and stakeholder engagement. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Corporate Governance and a Certificate in Charity Law and Governance from The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland.
