John Elliott

John Elliott joined Chumash Enterprises as Chief Executive Officer in January 2020. As CEO, John is responsible for managing the overall operations and resources for the Chumash-owned entities and serves a dual focus on both tribal economic development and gaming operations. Prior to his current role, John served as CEO for Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma from 2016-2019 and as CEO of Global Gaming Solutions from 2008-2016. He has also worked in key positions for other companies, such as Chickasaw Nation Business Operations and UMS Group. John has a bachelor’s degree in Financial Administration from the University of New England in Australia and a Master's of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
